"In my opinion, a book on success should start by telling you from chapter one, sentence one, how to be successful -- so I'll jump right in by saying the single most important factor in becoming welathy, healthy and happy is that you must believe it can be done.

And, even more importantly, you must believe that YOU can do it.

On first hearing this may sound simple -- even simplistic. It is neither. Believing in the possibility of your own success is not simple, because we're all bombarded, day and night, with a relentless onslaught of negative messages.

"You can't win." "They won't give you a chance." "The system is rigged." "It's not what you know; it's who you know." "Happiness is for other people - not for you." "who are YOU to think you can succeed, where so many others (and betters) have tried and failed?"
Other negative messages include: "You don't have the right skills." "You haven't suffered enough, worked enough, sweated enough." "Everything has come too easily for you -- you're too perfect."...    And so on... The list is infinite. We get these messages from our parents, our friends, our teachers, our coaches, our colleagues, and from perfect strangers. We get them from TV, movies, music, magazines, books, and the internet. What's worse, we also carry these negative notions around in our own heads - even if we don't always consciously realize it.

Overcoming this relentless drumbeat of negativity is neither simple nor easy. But it can be done. This book will teach you how.
