From Chapter 3: The Secret of My Success...and Yours!

Many people who read this book are probably asking: "Okay, Jordan, specifically how did you do it? How did you go from a net worth of around $7,000 to being a millionaire in a couple of years?" I'll answer the question breifly at the beginning of this chapter. As we go along, I'll give lots of detailed examples and specific lessons from my own story...starting with the fact that a decade of learning preceded that two years of effort.

...this is not a book about "how you can duplicate Jordan Wirsz's personal business history." The dynamic U.S. economy changes too quickly -- and differences between regional markets are too great -- for any one individual's step-by-step roadmap (including mine) to be applicable in all times and places. That's why I have little respect for "one size fits all." cookie-cutter, get-rich quick schemes that are hawked all over the place.
At the same time, I firmly believe that my story contains some timeless principles that apply to anyone, anyplace, at any time. My experience offers universal lessons that apply to any goal, and to any definition of success. It is these principals and lessons that I want to teach you in this book, because I truly believe they are the most valuable for you - wherever your own journey to success may take you.

Success Is What YOU make It
Another way to express all of this, is to say that the secret of your success is YOU: knowing yourself; being honest with yourself; and focusing on your unique personal desires, abilities, and talents... the things that make you "maverick rich." YOU are your single greatest resource. If you can bring your true strengths to bear, you will create your own one-of-kind roadmap to achievement.Read more...
